REGULATIONS MadRon 2025
PRESENTATION:
The Extreme Clube Lagares and the Portuguese Motorcycling Federation will hold the MadRon 2025 event on November 8 and 9, 2025.
This is an extra-championship event that will take place in accordance with these regulations and any final rules approved by the race jury.
1. REGISTRATION
Registrations will be made online at www.meliciasteam.com using the official registration form.
Entries are limited to 200 participants. The deadline for registration is November 7, 2025.
2. REGISTRATION AND SERVICES
Registration fee per rider:
70€ (Federated)
80€ (Hobby)
3. PAYMENT
Payment will be made in cash at the race secretariat.
4. TECHNICAL AND DOCUMENT CONTROL / PARC FERMÉ
Document checks will take place at the race secretariat located at Parque de Merendas Alto da Pegadinha – Lagares.

6. MOTORCYCLES
In case of doubt about a motorcycle’s classification, the decision on participation will be made by the race jury.
The use of trial tires is not allowed.
7. PROLOGUE – November 8
The prologue, approximately 10 km long, will take place on November 8 at 19:00 for the Adventure class and 20:00 for all other classes.
All riders will complete the prologue in reverse order. Riders who do not complete the prologue will receive the time of the last classified rider plus one minute.
8. BRIEFING
A mandatory briefing will be held for all riders to clarify matters related to the race.
9. MAIN EVENT START
The main event will be on November 9. Start time: 9:30 a.m. for the Adventure class and 11:00 a.m. for all other classes.
All riders start simultaneously. Starting order is based on ascending prologue times (the fastest prologue rider starts first).
10. COURSE
The course will be approximately 20 km per lap.
11. OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE
No outside assistance is permitted, either from the public or team members. Riders may only help each other in cases of blockage or other exceptional circumstances.
Designated assistance teams will be identified and are the only ones allowed to help.
12. SERVICE AREA
Refueling is only allowed within the service area and must be done solely by the rider, without any team assistance.
13. TIME CONTROL
After the first rider finishes, all checkpoints will close 30 minutes later.
14. CONTROL CARD
Each rider will receive a Control Card (CC), which must be validated at all checkpoints (CP).
Failure to validate at any CP will result in exclusion from that CP onward.
The CC must be handed in at the finish line; failure to do so may lead to disqualification.
15. RACE DURATION
The race lasts 3 hours. Riders unable to finish within this time must return to the paddock using the alternate route.
Their classification will be based on the last validated CP time.
16. CLASSIFICATION
Classification is by class. Results are determined by prologue time, number of laps and checkpoints completed, and total race time.
The winner is the rider with the lowest combined prologue and race time.
17. PRIZES
Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 riders in each class if there are more than 120 participants:
1st – €100
2nd – €60
3rd – €40
Only riders who complete the full course within the time limit with all CPs validated will receive cash prizes.
18. AWARD CEREMONY
The prize ceremony will take place on November 9, thirty minutes after the race time limit.
